 Ligonier Ministries was established in 1971 to equip Christians to articulate what they believe and why they believe it. Our foremost desire is to "awaken as many people as possible to the holiness of God by proclaiming, teaching, and defending His holiness in all its fullness." Our vision is to propagate the Reformed faith to the church throughout the world.
In order to accomplish this goal, Ligonier endeavors to provide solid teaching that helps bridge the educational gap between Sunday school and seminary. By making Christian education materials available, Ligonier hopes to encourage Christian laypeople to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so that they will be equipped to serve the church and glorify God (Romans 12:2).
To this end, the ministry produces the Renewing Your Mind radio broadcasts, The Reformation Study Bible (ESV), Tabletalk devotional magazine, historic reprints through Soli Deo Gloria Publications, numerous teaching series, sacred music, national and regional conferences, and an extensive catalog with over 3,000 unique resources.
RADIO BROADCASTS air every day worldwide. The domestic and international broadcasts reach a global audience of millions — 2.5 million in the U.S.A. alone. Through a powerful short-wave radio station in Ecuador we are able to reach 60 countries including all of the Americas, India, the South Pacific, and parts of North Africa and Asia.
INTERNET OUTREACH on the Ligonier.org web site features daily and archived broadcasts. RYM broadcasts are the most-visited parts of our web presence, which reaches 40,000 unique visitors per month.
THE REFORMATION STUDY BIBLE was created with a desire to see the light of the Gospel illumine the dark corners of our culture. Dr. Sproul led a team of more than 50 scholars to develop this important resource for Christians. We plan to extend its influence through additional translations and new media.
CONFERENCES are a wonderful opportunity to engage thousands of people in God’s Word. Each spring we host our popular national conference in Orlando. Our fall regional conferences are held in cities around the country. Additionally, donors help support our annual conference for pastors, which encourages and equips those on the frontlines of ministry.
CHRISTIAN BOOKS & EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES in the hands of Christians has been our vision from the beginning. We carefully select resources we believe would be most profitable for individuals, families, and churches.
TABLETALK MAGAZINE leads Christians through a year of daily Bible study. Each month features helpful, topical articles from Dr. Sproul, leading pastors, and theologians.
